Can I donate a book to the library?

Donations of books to Nottingham City Libraries are welcome under the following conditions:

• Condition: Books must be in new or nearly new condition.

• Publication Date: Books should have been published within the last three years.

• Relevance: Donated books must already be listed in the library catalogue.

Books that do not meet these criteria or other materials cannot be accepted.

All donated books become the property of Nottingham City Libraries. Library staff will decide how to use or dispose of them based on service needs, and donated books cannot be returned.
